Welcome China Global Webinar registration opens

The Welcome China Global Webinar, which will offer on Sept. 24th twelve hours of information about China's outbound tourism around the world, will be made freely accessible on http://ift.tt/X5XICb. "The demand for the webinar has been overwhelming, so we agreed with our co-organisers Dragon Trail Interactive and GBTIMES to offer the opportunity to attend even without registration, with a bandwidth which theoretically supports an audience participation of up to a million. Registration before the 24th of Sep. as well as during the event is optional to viewers, but only registered participants will have the opportunity of downloading the content of the webinar for free afterwards" said Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Georg Arlt, Director of the co-organiser COTRI China Outbound Tourism Research Institute.

The Welcome China Global Webinar is open to media, academics, companies, institutions, and individual and in order to match the needs of a worldwide public the event will be organized in four regional slots following the structure below:

4 a.m. – 7 a.m. GMT Oceania (NZ, Australia) and Asia (China, Southeast Asia)

7 a.m. – 8 a.m. GMT Africa (Kenya)

8 a.m. – 12 noon GMT Northern Europe (Finland, Austria, Scotland, England)

12 noon – 4 p.m. GMT Southern Europe (Western Balkan, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal)

The Welcome China Global Webinar is supported among other international organisations by the ETC European Travel Commission. In a 12 hour continuous broadcast from the TV studios of GBTIMES in Tampere, Finland the first online global seminar focusing on the Chinese outbound tourism market will highlight the development of Chinese tourism market to countries ranging from New Zealand to Thailand, Kenya, many European countries, the USA and others.

The Webinar will include interviews with high-ranking politicians like the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism of Kenya, Mrs. Phyllis Kandie, and the General Consul of Italy in Shanghai, China, Mr. Stefano Beltrame as well as key players of tourism organisations and the travel industry including Keith Beecham, interim CEO of VisitBritain and Jo Lloyd, Commercial Director at Birmingham Airport.
