Tianzhao Mountain is a famous Buddhist and Taoist mountain in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province.
Fifteen kilometers away from downtown Guangyuan, the mountain was frequented by Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history, for summer vacation, Buddha worshipping and pleasure in her childhood. The mountain offers incredible natural scenery, as well a dizzying number of trees—its forest coverage is over 90 percent.
