This exhibition aims to "pay tribute to excellent artists, promote Chinese culture, and carry forward the Chin ese spirit," event organizers said, which is a further step to enhance President Xi Jinping's plan for developing Chinese arts and culture.
Sixty pieces of Peng Bin's artwork will be exhibited at Shang8 International Art Center from July 5 - 15.
Peng, a professional calligrapher from Hunan province, who has won more than 30 awards at national calligraphy contests, is currently the president of Beijing Xiaoxiang Calligraphy & Painting Institute, and is an art director for several arts centers.
