     
The north section of the Lhasa ring road, in Tibet, has been put into trial operation. The ring road, built to ease traffic congestion and accelerate the city's developme nt, comprises seven tunnels and 27 bridges and overpasses. Construction started in October 2015, and is to be complete in June 2017.
