'Shaiqiu' tradition, a token of agrarian culture


Local residents sun bake their farm produce, including peppers, chrysanthemum flowers in Huangling village in east China's Jiangxi province. Huangling village is about 300 kilometers away from Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi province.

In autumn, the villagers in Huangling take out corn, chili peppers and chrysanthemum flowers to dry them in the sun. This tradition is called "shaiqiu" in Chinese.
