Photo shows the scenery of Dachang Village of Liangjiazhai Township in Yuxian County, north China's Shanxi Province. Dachang Village, an ancient village with a history of more than 800 years, now quietly lies at the mountain foot.
The village has long lost its bustle as almost all villagers move to cities for jobs. There are only 16 elderly persons living in the village with the youngest older than 50. Dacan village is also called stone village because the whole village is built on a rock slope and all the houses were made of stones.
