Sandstorm Hits Beijing

The Chinese capital is clearing itself out from one of the biggest sandstorms in some 13-years.

"It is as if I was blind, I cannot see anything."

Strong winds from the west stirred up significant air-quality issues.

PM-10 readings hit 1-thousand in many parts of the city last night.

Visibility was reduced to less than a thousand meters in some places.

The sand-storm also rolled through parts of Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Tianjin and Hebei.
