Camera captures snow leopard and cub


Picture of a snow leopard was captured by an infrared camera, set up at an altitude of 4,102 meters, at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan province, Jan. 1, 2015. In a short video clip, the snow leopard was also found roaming with its cub, about one year old, on the mountain. Snow leopards, one of China's Class A protected animals, are usually found in the Himalayan ranges of central and south Asia at altitudes between 3,000 and 5,500 meters.
