(CRI) China has joined Germany in requiring the country's airlines to ensure at least two crew members are in the cockpit at all times.
The requirement comes after investigation into the downed Germanwings flight shows its co-pilot had intentionally sent the plane on its fatal descent when he was alone in the cockpit.
All 150 people onboard the plane were killed when it hit the French Alps on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, German investigators say co-pilot Andreas Lubitz hid the details of an existing illness from his employers.
They say they've found a torn-up sick note in his Dusseldorf apartment, but do not reveal what illness Lubitz had.
But they say there's no evidence of a political or religious motive to his actions, and no suicide note has been found.
Earlier, it's being reported in some German media that Lubitz had suffered from depression.
