Gong Yi – A Beautiful Small Town in China

Gong Yi is a beautiful town that locates in the south of the Guangdong province in China. While it is a small town, it is also a place that is full of human touch. The people who live in this town are very friendly to each other, and to travelers of course. Gong Yi is a sacred place in my opinion. Compared with other cities, Gong Yi is a good place for travelers to visit or to live, because the air is fresh and the sky is often blue.

There are two villages in this town. One is the Zhang village and the other is the Chao village. These two villages are both beautiful. You would see lots of wheat fields that look extra good in the fall. However, you should try your best not to offend any of the people that live in these villages. Most likely, these villagers have never been to school in their lives and they can become barbaric easily. If anything bad happens, try not to argue with them. You should just apologize and leave. But still, it is worth it to go inside these villages and take tons of pictures.

The weather in this town is nearly perfect. It is not so cold in the winter and not so hot in the summer. Certainly, the people who live here are very satisfied with the good weather. There is a famous river that is named the Tan Jiang River. The river runs from the east of Gong Yi to the west of Gong Yi. The water is very clear and you can often see old people fishing and little kids playing in the river.

By the way, this town is known as the Shoe Town, because there are many small companies here that make shoes. Believe it or not, some of the shoes you are wearing were probably made in this very town. These shoe companies specialize in making dress shoes for men.

All in all, Gong Yi is an interesting place to visit if you are traveling in the Guangdong province of China.
