Dollars Or Yuan To Take With Traveling To China?

This question is quite actual, because the flow of travelers to the "Sub celestial country" grows year after year. Today China is considered as a developed country from the tourism point of view much like those usual to many people resorts Egypt and Turkey.

Chinese Yuan is not an free convertible currency and it is harder to buy than dollar or Euro at the territory of other countries. It is quite difficult to find an exchange point working with Chinese Yuan. But if you are "lucky" to find such point it appears that the exchange rate is not correct or there is no Yuan at all.

However starting out with dollars or Euro (it is allowed to take $2500 without any declaration) you will easily exchange them on the spot according to he actual exchange rate. It is much easier is to use a credit card of international payment systems. Today they are accepted in any trade center or restaurant.

Troubles with exchange can occur in province outside big cities such as Peking, Shanghai, Guanchjou and traditional resorts like Haynani. These troubles are concerned as well to the potential absence of exchange points as to the English language ignorance.

Herewith millions of false Yuan are wide-spread in China, reports a correspondent from Guandun region. Recently someone calling himself Dzen has appealed to the police having got his salary of 700 false Yuan. According to Dzen, in the accounting department of the factory he works in Dzen has received 7 banknotes each worth of 100 Yuan. After he came home and looked at the banknotes the surprised Chinese has found out similar numbers on each of them. The terrified Dzen understood that it was a Chinese forgery.

Local police representatives consider that most of false banknotes are being printed in the south province Guandjun. Last year police officers withdrew a half-billion false Yuan from this Chinese analogue of Caucasus. The police has closed many underground printing houses and arrested about 15 thousands of people. Most of them have been offended and executed. But the severe punishment doesn't help enough.

The problem is aggravated because of the following reason: people who have got forged money try to snap out of them as soon as possible. That's why tourists visiting China need to pay more attention to Yuan they get as a change or in exchange points. What if these banknotes have similar numbers too?
