Handicrafts of Kaifeng
Guan Porcelain
Guan porcelain is produced in Kaifeng. The imitations of the Guan celadon ware of the Northern Song Dynasty developed by the Kaifeng Ancient Porcelain Research Institute are regarded as treasures, which integrate the Guan porcelain technologies with the perfect artistic style.

Luoyang palace lanterns first appeared in the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220). At the beginning they were only hung in the imperial palace, and later such lanterns were widely spread among the people.
