Within 40 kilometers from Chengde, the famous holiday resort in Hebei province, Baicaowa National Forest Park is an ideal destination for autumn excursions. The landscape in the forest park is heavily tinted in colors of red and gold as shown in a recent release of photos. It lies about 170 kilometers to the northeast of Beijing and has always been a popular backdrop for photography fans.
