(CRI) The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses in central China's Xi'an ranked the best-quality Asian museum in 2016.
The UNESCO World Heritage contains life-sized statues of more than 8,000 soldiers, 130 chariots, 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses. It dates back to the third century BC.
The ranking, published by TripAdvisor, looks at global museums based on users' reviews and ratings over the past 12 months.
The War Remnants Museum in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, ranked second followed by the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, within Asia.
The Shanghai Museum and the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders, along with the Terracotta Warriors museum, are the highest rated museums in the Chinese mainland.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York topped the global charts.
