As a famous international tourism city in China, Guilin is always the first choice for those living in the Pearl River Delta. It is believed that this year's boom is attributed to the operation of Guizhou-Guangzhou high-speed railway, as well as the introduction of intelligent and high-end tourist products.
The Guizhou-Guangzhou high-speed railway shortens the travel time from Guilin to surrounding big cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Guiyang. The launch of the mobile account at Baidu "@Travel in Guilin" and other intelligent services also make the self-guided tour in Guilin more
convenient.
Statistics show that more tourists turned to mobile apps when traveling in the city during the holiday.
Nearly 80 percent of the flight tickets and hotel bookings were made via apps or through the internet.
An aerial touring base in Gaotian township has been put into to use, bringing a brand new experience for tourists. It offers three aerial touring lines, including Li River helicopter tour, Yulonghe River helicopter tour, and an aerial tour over the "natural gallery" sightseeing spot.
