New direct flight links Kunming with Thailand's Krabi

(Xinhua) Yunnan Lucky Air, a subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, will begin direct flights from Kunming city, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, with the Thai resort island of Krabi from Feb 11.

The flight will cut the travel time between the two regions to around two hours and 45 minutes. The route will be served every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, departing Kunming at 00:15 am and arriving Krabi at 2:00 am. The returning flight departs from Krabi at 3:00 am and lands in Kunming at 6:45 am.

Krabi in southern Thailand is a popular travel destinat ion for Chinese tourists.
