(CRI) The Chinese Foreign Ministry is urging tourists to behave properly during holiday trips, especially those who chose to go abroad.
Huang Ping is with the consular department of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
"People should not behave willfully because they are rich, and they should not fear for nothing because of the ignorance. Chinese tourists should establish a good image. When traveling overseas,
Chinese tourists should set up a basic legal consciousness, strictly follow local law, protect their rights rationally and should express their demands properly."
The number of Chinese outbound tourists during the week-long Spring Festival holiday has increased 30 percent this year from the same period last year. Inappropriate behavior is becoming a real embarrassment for China.
