South sea pearls come from Leizhou City in China is famous far and near. Leizhou city is located at the middle of the Leizhou Peninsula. In 1993 the total output of Leizhou city was nearly two thirds in nationwide output.
The Pearl Village, Liusha, has around 2541 culture site and culture area over 2300 mu. Its total output can be half of the nationwide output, which also increases the income of the people there. The pearls from Liusha are high quality and well sold all over the world.
Along the quick development of the culture pearl, the pearl craftwork industry also develope quickly. Now there is around 25 shell pearl factory and around 56 pearl jewelry factory on pearl necklace, pearl bracelet, pearl earrings and so on. Those products well sale to many countries and districts such as Hongkong, Japan, America, England, Egypt, Southeast of Asia and so on.
